Scots Climbers Selecetd to Compete for Britain

10 Scots Climbers to compete at the World Youth Championships at Ratho in September

Avril Gall reports on the results of the BMC Open Youth Lead Championship that took place on Saturday 24th July at EICA: Ratho.

The event was being used to pick the GB team for the forthcoming World Youth Championships in September and 22 young Scottish climbers took part in this open competition. Natalie Berry (from Bearden, Glasgow) and Johnny Stocking (from Killwinning, Ayrshire) - both current British Champions - won their respective categories but a further 8 Scots were selected to the British Team for the forthcoming event - Scots now making up half the British Team.
