The Tower and The Rock, Edinburgh’s newest climbing and bouldering facilities are open. The Rockworks built structures are at Scotland's flagship University gym complex in the heart of the city. Overlooked by the Crags of Arthur’s Seat – the setting and the site are superb.
There are 25 individual lines, top roped or led, with slabs, overhangs, vertical walls, flakes, a crack and a featured tower. Routes are set for f3+ to f7a. In The Rock bouldering room are angled walls, a featured slab and dramatic arch and graded problems from V0/1 up to V8.
There are strong links with the University Mountaineering and Hill Walking Club, whose members enjoy subsidised climbing during weekdays.

· Equipment hire (belay, boots etc)
· Qualified, experienced and enthusiastic climbers as staff
