Access & ConservationAccess & Conservation issues affect all mountaineers; whether it is securing or preserving access to the hills and crags or promoting the conservation of the areas we love.
Access & Conservation work is undertaken by a specialist officer, supported by a hard-working group of volunteers. The team keeps up-to-date with access and conservation issues, and works in partnership with a number of environmental and land management organisations to deliver a structured work programme. The work includes providing information and advice, promoting members' interests, providing responses to consultations, and contributing to partnership projects.
Please look at the link buttons on the left to find out more about what we do and have done. We also produce a range of informative advice to download. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, contact the Access and Conservation Officer, Hebe Carus at the MCofS Office.
