More & Bigger Prizes
In association with Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival

The MCofS has joined with Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival to expand the long-running MCofS literary competition and the EMFF photography competition.

The winning entries will be announced at the Edinburgh Festival. Winners of both the literary (poetry and possibly the essays, depending on length) and photography competition will be displayed as part of the EMFF exhibition at the Edinburgh Fine Art Library on George IV Bridge, which runs for a month in the lead up to the festival in October and will then be reproduced in the Scottish Mountaineer in November.

EMFF have kindly donated weekend passes (worth £100) to the Festival for the winners in each literary category.
