Find a club for you

Interested in joining a club? There are over 140 clubs and meet up groups affiliated to the Mountaineering Council of Scotland offering a wide range of activities and locations.

Click on a region on our map to find a club near you or search for 'national clubs' to find ones which don't have a particular local base.

Joining a club is a great way to make new friends who share your passion for the hills or climbing wall and gain experience from other members through your involvement on day or weekend meets.

It's worthwhile checking out more than one club to find the one which suits you best, and bear in mind that while some offer a range of mountaineering activities, others may concentrate on only one activity such as hill walking or ski-touring.
