MCofS MEMBERS’ ANNUAL MEET
The MCofS Members’ Annual Meet (formerly the Annual Gathering) will be held at Glenmore Lodge on 4th September 2010
FREE EVENTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
The meet programme includes FREE EVENTS for all, a forum and seminars for Club Members; General Meetings (see notices here); guest speaker Cameron McNeish; followed by a 3-course meal, and music until late.
Members can enjoy dry-tooling, rock climbing or a ‘how to train’ hill running session. More relaxed alternatives include GPS training; a visit to the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team Base; a half-day tour of the Cairngorm plateau and corries; a minimal impact mountaineering workshop; and a chance to learn how search and rescue dogs are trained courtesy of SARDA dog Milly.
Accommodation is available at prices to suit every pocket, including a special Friday / Saturday 2-night bed & breakfast package at Glenmore Lodge.

Most events have a maximum number of 10 participants. You must pre-book for events by 20 August, and register on arrival at the MCofS Desk in the Main Corridor at Glenmore Lodge on the day of the meet to obtain joining instructions.

Lunch: Saturday at 12.30 prompt £5.95 - alternatively Members may bring a packed lunch
Dinner: at 19.30 prompt £12.75. Tell us if you require the Vegetarian or other option
Breakfast: only £6.00 per person
Members will be provided with complimentary tea / coffee and cake at 15.30 in the dining room courtesy of Summit Financial Services.

2) MILL COTTAGE

The cottage is 0.25 miles to North West of Feshiebridge, off the B970. OS Landranger 35, reference NH844047
There is accommodation for 14 persons - 2 rooms with 4 bunks each, 1 room with alpine platform for 6. Mattresses provided.
Costs £7.00 per person per night. Self-catering. Pre-booking essential as you will need a key!
The hut is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis for the nights of 3/4/5 September for members attending the Annual Meet.

· Download the booking form, book and pay MCofS (not Glenmore Lodge) for your accommodation and meals.
· Pre-book your FREE events.
· Club representatives should confirm if they wish to attend the Club Forum and seminars using the booking form or by email to info@mcofs.org.uk
· Please do all this by NO LATER THAN 20 AUGUST!
