Glen Brittle Memorial Hut

Held in trust on behalf of the BMC and MCofS

The hut is situated on Skye, at the edge of the Cuillin.
It is available for the use of Mountaineering Council of Scotland and British Mountaineering Council affiliated clubs, and individual members.

LOCATION:-
Glen Brittle, Skye, on road approaching from Carbost, about 300 yards short of Glenbrittle House.
O S Map 32, South Skye, GR. 412216.

FACILITIES:-
18 bunks (sleeping bags required)
All electric; all utensils; large drying room; showers; WCs

CHARGES:
£7.00/person/night; overnight charges include electricity for cooking, lighting and
drying room, but not for bedroom heaters.

KEYS
During the summer there is a resident Warden, otherwise contact the secretary.

Hut open April to October and possibly at other times by arrangement with Hut Secretary. Resident Warden April-October. All bookings through Secretary.

NOTE - only British Mountaineering Council and Mountaineering Council of Scotland affiliated clubs and individual members may use this hut, members are allowed to bring one guest only.
