The Alex MacIntyre Memorial Hut

Jointly owned by the MCofS and BMC

The hut is situated at North Ballachulish and can sleep 16 people.

It is available for the use of Mountaineering Council of Scotland and British Mountaineering Council affiliated clubs, and individual members.

LOCATION:-
North Ballachulish on A82, one mile north of the Ballachulish Bridge, 50 mts from the entrance to Creag Mhor Hotel,
O S Map No 41, Grid Ref 044 612.

ACCOMMODATION:-
Beds for 16 divided between 5 rooms (2 alpine bunks, the rest are single or bunk beds), mattresses provided.

Please note: Several bedrooms have shared sleeping platforms and the toilets and showers section is a shared unisex facility. Parents and responsible adults with groups with people under the age of 18 and/or with vulnerable adults may stay provided they accept these arrangements. Groups not willing to share must pay for all hut places. A leader of a group may share with others if the leader accepts other arrivals and is willing to share. Groups with under 18s and/or with vulnerable adults will not be admitted when the hut is wardened.

FACILITIES:- 
Electric convector heaters in dorms requiring £1.00 coin, full cooker, microwave, 4 extra electric rings, toaster, refrigerator, cooking and dining utensils, running hot and cold water, showers, toilet, drying room, multi fuel stove in the lounge.

HUT FEES:-
£7.00 per person per night.
Full payment at time of booking, cheques made payable to Alex MacIntyre Memorial Hut.
Access is by a digital lock on the side door. If you have not been informed of the current code for this a week before your trip please contact the booking secretary.

With the exception of assistance dogs, no dogs or other pets are allowed within the building.
