Highland Drovers on the Telly

Wednesday 6th June 2012

Drovers on the Telly!

Griff Rhys Jones visited Crieff with a film crew and a number of cattle during last year’s Crief Drovers Tryst, and the TV programme about droving for which he was filming – one in a series titled “Britain’s Lost Routes” - will be screened on BBC1 on Thursday 14th June.

Crieff & Strathearn Drovers' Tryst annually celebrates the life, work and play of the people who made Crieff the cattle-droving crossroads of Scotland in the 1700s. The modern day Tryst is run by volunteers and built around a programme of guided walks in the stunning scenery and autumn colours of Strathearn & surrounding areas of Perthshire.
