From Glen Esk to Glen Shiel

MCofS member Jimmy Baxter hales from Blairgowrie and privately published a book of his Munro exploits that took from his local hills to the far west. Selling the book locally he raised much needed funds for his local mountain rescue team and he has donated the remaining stock to the MCofS to help us raise funds for our mountaineering Bursary. The Bursary helps support and encourage Scottish climbers and mountaineers to get out and explore, from young sport climbers to, shall we say more mature, club member trips abroad. 100% of the money raised will be used towards the Bursary.
