Student Winter Skills Course 2009

Sixty students from thirteen Scottish university and college clubs took part in a winter skills weekend at Glenmore Lodge on 21st & 22nd February. Under the watchful supervision of their instructors, the students practiced ice axe and crampon skills, navigation, avalanche awareness and a host of other essential skills.

Thanks are due to Glenmore Lodge for running a successful weekend and to all the instructors for their hard work: Nick Arding, Kate Bromfield, Dave Brown, Gillian Culshaw, Graeme Douglas, Rupert Hutchinson,           Hazel Johnson, Neil MacPherson, Rafael Salazar, Richard Scrivens, Stuart Smith and Nathan White.
