Student Winter Skills Course 2010

Sixty-one students from eleven Scottish university and college clubs took part in a winter skills weekend at Glenmore Lodge on 27th & 28th February.

In the weather and road conditions at the time it was an achievement simply getting to Glenmore Lodge on the Friday night! 

The students practiced ice axe and crampon skills, navigation, avalanche awareness and a host of other essential skills.

Thanks are due to Glenmore Lodge for running another successful weekend and to all the instructors for their hard work.
