Wildlife Issues

Wildlife is an integral part of our adventure on a mountain or up a crag. Our experiences may be enhanced by learning more about the wildlife through specialist wildlife organisations. However, we all need to be aware where we stand in relation to the law and how to stay within it, even if we have good intentions. This is particularly applicable to birds (please see bird-related advice here), but also to plants and many other animals. You may even see suspicious behaviour and want to report this to the Police Wildlife Liaison Officers.
