Womens Mountaineering

There are a number of clubs and events held exclusively for women mountaineers. These include

  • Womens only GPS training course - May 2010 - more
  • The Pinnacle Club
    Pinnacle is a UK wide club exclusively for women. They hold about 30 meets per year around the country, including two open meets for non-members to come along and try it out. More info on their website
  • The Scottish Womens Climbing Meet.  A once or twice yearly event - more
  • Ladies Scottish Climbing Club (LSCC)
    Bringing together women who are committed to mountaineering in Scotland and to encourage an interest in all aspects of mountaineering at home and abroad. 2008 was the 100th Anniversary of the LSCC.   • Irish Womens' Climbing Meet promoted by Mountaineering Ireland
  • Mixed Clubs
