Womens Mountaineering
There are a number of clubs and events held exclusively for women mountaineers. These include

- Ladies Scottish Climbing Club
Bringing together women who are committed to mountaineering in Scotland and to encourage an interest in all aspects of mountaineering at home and abroad. 2008 is the 100th Anniversary of the LSCC. Pinnacle is a UK wide club exclusively for women. They hold about 30 meets per year around the country, including two open meets for non-members to come along and try it out.
